I go bai bai today

I'm going to see my grampa's and grama's. My baptism is this weekend. I will have fun with my aunts and uncle. See my excitement!!

Terms of Endearment.....the movie

As I was playing "operation" (the game of which by the way was far more useful in terms of learning a skill than many college classes) on Emma's nose trying to remove the obstructions....and I thought of the movie Terms of Endearment. I haven't seen it in ages; oddly I have a thing for 2 Shirley MacLaine movies...anywho, during the previously mentioned operation I thought of her practically crawling in the crib with her baby daughter "Emma" (oddly enough) to check on her. I backed away from the baby....I will not be "that" mom.

I gotz boogies!

Iz resting today....I gotz boogies taken out of my nose early this morming and about noon. Not so pretty.

No pictures today......

Cuz my face looks like Edward Scissorhands......my mittens fell off and I went WILD!!!

Oh Hai!

I wave to all my blog looky-looers today. Have a good weekend!

Contrary to popular belief.....not my bad.

Yes, if you live or have lived in the state of Nebraska you know full well that Husker games are considered a religion to thousands. The stadium is their alter, the recliners at home and bleachers are the pews in which the people watch and pray from. One can hear the hymns echo from the tunnel signaling to the parishioners that "church" is about to start, and if you listen closely there are probably even a few "Hail Mary's" and "Our Fathers" coming from the masses.
As for me I don't attend this "church" so I was not aware of the schedule of events.
I have found out that our little Emma is to be baptized at the same time that the fall Husker season is to begin...almost down to the minute. Shame on me, or shamey as Grandpa Lee would say.
To my little Emma(sassy).....they'll get over it!

Sassy goes to school...

...but was suspended for showing her midriff.

Emma went to school with mommy and met mommy's co-workers. She was very good.

After working Emma needed a nap.
