This has to be one of my favorite photos from our Mommy and Me trip to Valentine this year. We walked around a pasture, drank out of a windmill, rode a horse, explored a barn, rode on several tractors, and hiked to Fort Falls.
Miss Emma should come hang with me for Halloween. My go-to costume is a cowgirl ensemble. We'd be all matchymatchy.
Also, I always get flak when I do wear the boots/jeans/western shirt/hat for Halloween. They always say "You're from Nebraska. That's not even a costume for you." And I always reply "It's true. Man, if I had a nickel for every time someone took my horse's spot in the high school parking lot..."
